As Co-President of GEPD, I co-led and organized the first engineering pre-banquet networking event with my strong organizing committee, bringing together over 20 Scott Robertson Award–winning alumni through a roundtable discussion. With 60+ registrations, this event fostered meaningful mentorship and professional connections that extended into the annual Engineering Banquet between Guelph alumni and future engineers.

As Co-President of GEPD, I co-led the planning and execution of PDC 2025, coordinating five months of preparation with a team of 20+ students to deliver the most successful PDC in Guelph’s history, with over 130 attendees. The student-led conference connected engineering students with industry leaders for professional insights, networking, and growth, and was supported by the University of Guelph’s College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

I represented the University of Guelph as a delegate at the 2025 Conference on Diversity in Engineering (CDE) at McGill University, joining over 200 selected engineering students from across Canada to discuss the topic of barriers and breakthroughs. Through talks and discussions, I gained valuable insight into overcoming barriers, stepping outside my comfort zone, and creating meaningful opportunities through advocacy and action.

The GEPD team was proudly nominated for the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Student Impact Award in recognition of our positive impact at the annual ONWiE Summit. I had the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony at McMaster University, celebrating the organization’s momentum, recognition, and continued growth within the engineering community alongside my co-president and founder of GEPD.

I represented the City of Brampton’s Innovation & Technology team at the world rennounced Elevate Festival 2025 in Toronto, supporting the Black Innovation Summit alongside founders, policymakers, and industry leaders. Over the course of the event, I attended multiple speaker sessions and panels on emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and inclusive innovation, gaining valuable insights into the future of tech and economic development.

I attended the Conference on Sustainability in Engineering (CSE) as a delegate at my home, the University of Guelph, joining over 200 engineering students from across Canada for a three-day national conference focused on sustainable engineering practices. Through technical talks and industry-led discussions on topics, I gained deeper insight into how engineers can design and implement solutions that incorporate environmental impact.
